Attic Ventilation/Insulation/Radient Barrier

Our efforts to cool down our attic. After having trouble keeping the upstairs cool, especially the bay window bedroom on the front of the house, we decided to try and do something about it. We had been consistently measuring the temperature in our attic at 135 - 140 degrees Fahrenheit. Over the course of a couple months we installed radiant barrier foil and more fiberglass blown-in insulation in the attic and also installed ridge vents to better ventilate the attic. Our efforts had some desired results - we are now measuring the temperature about 110 degrees.
