Here's how I salvaged the back piece of the case. I figured if I could make the rabbit on the bottom edge perfectly parallel to the top rabbit, the bottom piece would still end up square and everything would still be fine. It's a full 48"x48" piece (outside dimension) so with a 3/4" rabbit on all sides that leaves 46 1/2" for the inside dimension. As it turns out, the side pieces of the case are 23 1/4" wide so the two side pieces together are exactly 46 1/2". The side pieces were very close to being perfectly dimensioned since I was able to run those through my table saw. So my idea was to align one of the side pieces against the rabbit on the top side and butt the second side piece to first. That put the edge of the second side piece precisely where I needed my bottom rabbit on the back piece. I used my template bit to make the rabbit. This view is looking along the bottom edge of the back piece. One of the side pieces is clamped to the bottom piece.
