My first big blunder. The back of the case is 4'x4' and too big to cut with my table saw. So I made the cut by clamping a straight edge to the plywood and cutting with my circular saw. Even though my straight edge was very good (a metal drywall T-square) and I was sure to keep the saw against it the entire time, I still got a horribly wavy cut towards the end. I've had this happen to me several other times - not sure what my problems but I need to find a better way to may these long cuts. Sure wish I had room (and money) for a panel saw! :) I ended up salvaging this piece - more on that later.
